On the click, a panel slides in from the right, pushing the page’s content ahead of it. It stays while the next page loads, then carries on out to the left, and the new page follows it in as a whole. Going back, it sweeps from the left.

One full-screen panel, moved with a transform, and the content moved with it, a little behind. The new page has no entrance of its own: it moves in with the panel.
